Job summary

Voyage Education Partnership is seeking a dedicated primary teacher for Mabe Primary School in Cornwall. The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons to pupils aged 3 to 11.

You will inspire confidence, monitor progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to support every child’s wellbeing and achievement. This is a permanent, full-time post within a supportive Trust environment.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Inspire children to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.
• Demonstrate high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to helping every child reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that engage, challenge and support all pupils.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform teaching and learning.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes high standards of achievement, behaviour and inclusion.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and those requiring additional challenge.
• Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and colleagues to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
• Participate in professional development, school events and team collaboration.
• Uphold the school's values and fulfil the professional duties set out in the Teachers' Standards.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.
