Job summary

Kernow Learning is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher for Mabe Community Primary School. This permanent, part-time role (0.4 FTE: Thursdays and Fridays) offers the opportunity to inspire confidence, curiosity and a love of learning in a caring school community.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have high expectations for every pupil, deliver engaging teaching, and uphold safeguarding and professional standards within our trust network.

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and those requiring additional challenge.
• Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and colleagues to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.

• Participate fully in professional development, school events and team collaboration.
• Uphold the school's values and fulfil the professional duties set out in the Teachers' Standards.

Kernow Learning is a multi-academy trust of 21 primary schools in Cornwall. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our team at Mabe Community Primary School. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's learning and development within a caring and ambitious school community. The successful candidate will inspire confidence, curiosity and a love of learning, while creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive and achieve their potential.

This is a permanent part-time position, working Thursdays and Fridays each week. We are looking for a candidate who can make a long-term commitment to these working days and become an integral part of our school community.

The successful candidate will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
