Job summary

Waverley Primary Academy is seeking an inspiring Class Teacher to join on a fixed-term basis, 19 hours per week. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and challenge all learners, within a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner (ECTs welcome).

• Understanding of inclusion and safeguarding.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Tailor learning experiences to meet individual needs.
• Monitor and assess progress, supporting every child's journey.
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold school values.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a consistent curriculum.
• Support pupils with SEND through adaptive teaching strategies.
• Enrich learning through trips, visitors, and creative curriculum activities.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement and innovation.
