Job summary

Winton Primary School is seeking a passionate Class Teacher to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with a ready start date of February 2027. You will help spark curiosity, inspire confidence and create a classroom where children can’t wait to learn, building strong relationships and delivering learning that brings subjects to life.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in EYFS is desirable
• Demonstrates ability to raise achievement and maintain high expectations
• Ability to create inclusive and nurturing classroom environments
• Strong communication with pupils, families and colleagues
• Willingness to reflect, learn and adapt to new ideas
• Experience in collaborative, team-based settings
