Ryefield Primary School is seeking a permanent Class Teacher to join our Phase team from January 2027. The successful candidate will plan, teach and assess learning for a class within a year group, contributing to a thriving, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Plan, teach, deliver and assess learning for a class of pupils, as part of a year team.
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that enables the children to flourish.
• Provide pastoral care and guidance for their class, in line with the school’s procedures.
• Be part of a wider team of professionals who have an unwavering belief in the potential of our pupils.
• Lead by example as a teacher achieving high standards of pupil attainment, behaviour and motivation through effective professional practice.
• Specialise in a subject, providing professional guidance and support for colleagues with other specialists.
• Play a full part in the life of the school community, to support its ethos and to encourage and ensure staff and pupils follow this example.
