Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is assisting a thriving primary school in recruiting a dedicated Primary School Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting January 2027. The school serves pupils aged 4-11, with specialist SEND provision and a focus on wellbeing and progress.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons, monitor progress, differentiate for all learners, and collaborate with staff, pupils, and families to support achievement and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and excellent classroom management.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress.
