Qualifications

• QTS or ECTs considered
• High standards of teaching and learning
• A good degree in a specialist subject teaching qualification
• Nationally recognised teaching qualification
• Ability to teach across Key Stages 3-4 with knowledge-rich curriculum
• Strong classroom teaching and willingness to innovate
• Experience with technology in teaching and learning
• Be flexible to a changing educational environment
• Contribute to whole school initiatives

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons, activities, tutorials and sequences to meet students' learning needs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching practice and curriculum developments
• Deliver engaging lessons to pupils aged 11–16 (KS3-4)
• Fulfill Form Tutor duties as required, even when form not assigned
• Comply with academy policies and safeguarding procedures
• Support wider academy aims and CPD initiatives
