Job summary

Humberston Academy is seeking an ambitious and inspirational teacher to join our high-performing team. The post covers ages 11–16 and may include outreach duties. You will be a form tutor and plan lessons aligned to a knowledge-rich curriculum, with a focus on STEM enrichment and collaborative learning.

This is a full-time role with potential for part-time at 26 hours per week. We value innovative teaching, technology in the classroom and a commitment to equality, inclusion and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• QTS / ECT status required or considered
• High standards of teaching and learning expected
• Nationally recognised teaching qualification required

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching subject and curriculum developments.
• Plan lessons/activities to meet students' learning needs.
• Deliver engaging lessons and assessments across Key Stages 3–4.
• Support wider school initiatives and be flexible with duties including form tutor tasks.
