Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Status or recognised UK teaching credential (PGCE/SCITT).
• Honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
• Proven ability to deliver strong GCSE Mathematics outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and 4 (GCSE Higher/Foundation).
• Plan, resource and deliver high-quality lessons to build numeracy and algebraic fluency.
• Use data to target interventions and stretch high-attaining pupils.
• Prepare students for GCSE and support Maths Challenge mentoring.
• Maintain high classroom engagement and an ambitious learning environment.
• Serve as Form Tutor and support pastoral care of a year group.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine schemes of work and digital learning.
• Support daily Maths department operations.
