Job summary

Cherry Oak School (Federation of Cherry Oak School and Victoria School) based at Cherry Oak School, 60 Frederick Road, Birmingham, is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 19 hours per week during term time. Permanent post; working pattern Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Qualifications

• recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is required.
• GCSE Maths and English at level 4 or above or recognised equivalent.
• Willingness to support pupils with autism and special needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on the autistic spectrum with personalized approaches.
• Deliver Read Write Inc phonics and small-group writing sessions.
• Contribute to safeguarding and pupil welfare and work as part of a team.
