Job summary

Victoria School, federated with Cherry Oak School, is based in Birmingham and provides education for pupils aged 2–19 with diverse special needs. The Level 2 Teaching Assistant role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only, permanent, with a working pattern Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will support lesson preparation and delivery, assist pupils individually and in groups, and help meet care and wellbeing needs throughout the school day. Closing date is 25 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Level 2 TA qualification required.
• SEN experience or experience with pupils who have complex needs preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly to support pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers with preparation of resources for lessons.
• Support pupils during lessons, individually and in small groups.
• Support pupils’ care needs and well-being throughout the day.
