Job summary

Rochdale Sixth Form College seeks an enthusiastic Teacher of IT (with ability to teach Computer Science) to join a high-performing team. You will deliver engaging IT/CS lessons, uphold high expectations and contribute to an outstanding educational experience.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, a strong IT/CS knowledge, commitment to ongoing CPD, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge of IT and, ideally, Computer Science.
• Can deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
• Is committed to continuous professional development.
