Rochdale Sixth Form College is seeking a dynamic Teacher of IT (with the ability to teach Computer Science) to deliver engaging IT lessons and help students progress to higher education and employment.

You will contribute to Computer Science teaching, support ambitious students, and join a high-performing team within Altus Education Partnership, upholding our values and commitment to safeguarding.

Formación

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge of IT and, ideally, Computer Science.
• Delivers engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour, and commits to CPD.
• Builds positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging IT lessons across the curriculum and contribute to teaching Computer Science.
• Inspire and challenge students to achieve progression to higher education, apprenticeships or employment.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement and support pastoral care.
• Engage with parents and colleagues to support students’ learning journey.
