Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a secondary school in Gloucester from after October half term through to Christmas. You will teach History and Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on History, in a full-time temporary role.

The position requires QTS or equivalent and strong classroom management, with responsibilities spanning planning, delivery, assessment, and contributing to the wider school community.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching History and/or Humanities in a secondary school.
• Ability to teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality History and Geography lessons.
• Differentiate lessons to meet all learners' needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments as required.
