Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a large secondary school in South Gloucestershire seeking a History Teacher for a long-term position with an immediate start.

You will deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, maintain high classroom expectations and support students to achieve strong academic progress, while contributing to an ambitious, high-achieving culture.

Qualifications

• QTS with History specialism or ECTs welcome.
• Experience teaching History across KS3/KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated History lessons.
• Positive approach with high expectations for student achievement.
