Job summary

Bishop Burton College invites applications for a Foundation Studies teacher at Riseholme College. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress and tailor learning to individual needs to help learners gain confidence and independence.

You’ll support wellbeing, behaviour and progression, and may be working towards teaching qualifications while contributing to an inclusive, learner-centred department. This role is on-site in the Riseholme/Bishop Burton campus network.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or training roles.
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Foundation Studies learners.
• Assess and track progress, tailoring learning to individual needs.
• Support students' wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour.
• Prepare learners for further study, employment and adulthood.
