Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting EYFS Teachers to support primary schools across Nursery and Reception settings. You will plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons, create a safe, inclusive environment and support early development.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has EYFS experience and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. Roles are available on full-time and part-time basis across Aspire's network of primary schools.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous EYFS experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Creative, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate about early childhood development.
• Committed to safeguarding and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities.
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting children's communication, language and early development.
• Developing early phonics, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Using play-based learning to support children's development.
• Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress.
• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs.
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider EYFS team.
• Building positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
