TeacherActive Limited is recruiting an English Teacher for a specialist SEMH provision in Tewkesbury. The role is long-term and starts on 2 November 2026, with a daily rate of £170–£195.

You will plan and deliver English lessons up to GCSE/KS4, tailoring approaches to SEMH pupils while maintaining positive behaviour management. The successful candidate will hold QTS with English, have experience teaching English to GCSE level, and demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and outstanding

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with English specialism.
• Experience teaching English up to GCSE / Key Stage 4.
• Experience supporting SEMH students or challenging behaviour.
• Strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies.
• Clear communication and relationship-building with students.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons up to GCSE/KS4.
• Adapt teaching to meet SEMH needs and manage behaviours positively.
• Monitor progress and support academic development for SEMH learners.
