Job summary

Aspire People are partnering with a large Multi-Academy Trust in Manchester to recruit a passionate Computer Science Teacher to start ASAP.

You will deliver engaging CS lessons, plan, mark and assess, maintain high behaviour standards and collaborate within a supportive Computing department.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Computer Science.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Resilient, dedicated and adaptable approach to teaching.
• ECTs welcome to apply.
• DBS on Update Service (or willing to apply for a new one).
• References covering the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons.
• Take full responsibility for planning, marking and assessment.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom behaviour management.
• Inspire students to develop a love of Computer Science and achieve their best.
• Work collaboratively with staff across the department.
