Job summary

You will work in a progressive environment that promotes digital learning and independence, preparing pupils for GCSE assessments and inspiring enthusiasm for technology.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a closely related subject.
• Strong understanding of the UK Computing curriculum, particularly at GCSE level.
• Solid programming knowledge, especially Python, with familiarity of Java/HTML/CSS.
• Adaptable and engaging teaching style with interest in tech developments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons focused on computing concepts, algorithms, computational thinking, and logical problem solving.
• Teach programming with a primary focus on Python, exposing students to Java, HTML, and CSS.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes independence, creativity and digital confidence.
• Support students in preparing for GCSE assessments and examinations and inspire interest in computing and emerging technologies.
