Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking an enthusiastic Apprenticeship Computing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and support across Computing apprenticeship programmes in a part-time capacity. You will plan and deliver learning sessions, conduct progress reviews and assess apprentice work, enabling learners to achieve qualifications and apprenticeship standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Computing or Information Technology
• Experience teaching, training, coaching or mentoring learners (FE/Apprenticeships)
• Hands-on IT experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking or software development
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., Proxmox Hypervisor)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and e-portfolio platforms (OneFile, Smart Assessor)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning sessions for apprentices
