Job summary

Blackburn College advertises a part-time Lecturer in Computing (Apprenticeships) role, 18.5 hours per week, with a salary range of £28,273 to £42,655 pro-rata per annum. The role focuses on teaching, coaching and supporting Computing apprenticeship programmes and liaising with employers and college colleagues.

Qualifications

Degree in Computing or Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience in teaching, training or mentoring learners, ideally in an apprenticeship or FE setting.
Practical IT experience in hardware/software, networking, infrastructure or software development.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging learning sessions for Computing apprentices.
Conduct progress reviews and assess apprentice work.
Provide individualised support to learners to achieve qualifications and apprenticeship standards.
Support learner recruitment, retention and achievement within apprenticeship provision.
