Job summary

Bridgnorth Endowed School is seeking a committed Art Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our Creative Arts Department from 2 November 2026 for two terms. You will teach Art to KS3-4, plan, deliver and assess learning, and support school events.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and high-quality Art lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop creativity, confidence and artistic skills.
• Plan, deliver and assess learning to ensure progress for all students.
• Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and presentation.
• Monitor and report on student progress and attainment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
• Support the wider life of the school through events such as parents' evenings and open evenings.
