Job summary

Teach South Kent is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Maidstone on a maternity cover basis, starting in October. You will deliver high-quality Art lessons across the secondary age range, plan engaging and challenging lessons, support students' creativity, and contribute to the Art department and wider school life in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Art lessons across the secondary age range.
• Plan engaging, challenging lessons to inspire students.
• Support students in developing artistic skills, confidence and creativity.
• Teach a broad range of artistic techniques, processes and disciplines.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the Art department.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to express themselves.
