Job summary

Pertemps Education Network in Lambeth, South London is seeking a dedicated Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role involves working closely with teachers and support staff, primarily for Nursery and Reception pupils.

The successful candidate will have experience in an Early Years or primary school setting, understanding of SEND, particularly Autism, and excellent communication skills. This full-time role offers ongoing development opportunities within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Skills in providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Ability to monitor and record pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND.
• Support children's learning through play-based activities.
• Assist with implementing EHCP targets and individual support plans.

Skills
