Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking an Inspection team member for the 1400-2200 shift (38 hours/week), Monday to Friday. You will support the business in new and existing products, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Quality standards, and verify parts against drawings.

You will handle paperwork, meet targets, maintain housekeeping and ensure measurement equipment is calibrated. Ideal candidates read technical drawings, are team players, hands-on, communicate well, prioritise tasks, can work

Job description

As a member of the Inspection team, working on the 1400-2200 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for providing support to the business in both new and existing products. Adhering at all times to the Company's Health and Safety, 2 Minute Warning and Near Miss Reporting policies/procedures, to ensure product is fit for its purpose in accordance with Company Quality Standards; to ensure finished product/component/part is in line with current drawing; assist in all areas in line with business needs following satisfactory training; to process all relevant paperwork in a timely manner; to achieve set targets within section; maintain a high standard of housekeeping; carry out all duties in line with Health & Safety regulations; ensure that all measuring/testing equipment is accurate and/or calibrated
