Vincere is seeking an Insolvency Partner in Birmingham to lead a mix of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. The role focuses on business development, building a sustainable client pipeline, and collaborating with a national team on high‑quality work.

Open to Senior Associates ready to step into Partnership or Partners seeking a new platform, with hybrid working where feasible and a strong investment in growth.

Insolvency Partner

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £110,000 to £180,000 (depending on experience and following)

Experience: Senior Associate to Partner (with a strong BD track record)

Our client is investing in the continued growth of its Insolvency and Recoveries team and is keen to speak with both Partners seeking a new platform and Senior Associates ready to step into Partnership.

You will advise on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and recoveries matters, working closely with colleagues across litigation, banking, corporate, real estate and regulatory to deliver joined-up solutions for clients facing complex financial challenges.

The role can be shaped around your experience and practice, with a clear focus on business development and building a sustainable pipeline.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious personal and corporate insolvency matters
• Supporting business recovery and restructuring work, including distress and turnaround situations
• Handling insolvency litigation, including director disqualification matters where relevant
• Advising on debt recovery, enforcement, secured lending and security issues
• Supporting work involving winding-up and bankruptcy proceedings
• Advising on restructuring solutions, including CVAs and pre-pack administrations where appropriate
• Working closely with colleagues across related practice areas to deliver joined-up advice
• Developing and growing client relationships and generating new work
• Contributing to team leadership, mentoring and wider practice development (level dependent)
• Working to agreed financial and performance targets

What We’re Looking For

• Senior Associate or Partner level lawyer with insolvency and recoveries experience
• Strong technical expertise and sound commercial judgement
• A genuine interest in business development, with a track record of winning work
• A client following is welcomed, or a clear and credible plan to build one
• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
• Collaborative approach and a desire to contribute to a growing national team
