Job summary

QC Legal is seeking an established Restructuring & Insolvency Partner to strengthen and expand its national practice from either the Leeds or Birmingham office. The role offers leadership, mentoring and strategic direction to support the continued development of the team and the firm.

The successful candidate will advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, investors, directors and distressed businesses on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters, while developing new business

About the Firm

Our client has developed a respected national Restructuring & Insolvency practice, advising insolvency practitioners, lenders, investors, directors, distressed businesses and other key stakeholders across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Working alongside specialists in Banking, Corporate, Real Estate and Commercial Disputes, the team provides strategic advice on complex restructurings, formal insolvency processes and business recovery. As the practice continues to grow, the firm is looking to appoint an established Partner in either Leeds or Birmingham.

The Opportunity

• Strengthen and expand the firm's Restructuring & Insolvency offering from either the Leeds or Birmingham office.
• Advise insolvency practitioners, secured lenders, financial institutions, investors, directors and distressed businesses on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Lead on complex corporate restructurings, administrations, liquidations, receiverships and business recovery strategies.
• Handle high-value insolvency litigation, recovery actions and director-related claims where appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Banking, Corporate, Real Estate, Commercial Disputes and Employment to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Develop new business opportunities while deepening relationships with an established client base and key professional referrers.
• Raise the profile of the practice through networking, thought leadership and active engagement within the restructuring and insolvency market.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and strategic direction to support the continued development of the team.
