Numero Recruitment are currently working with a regional accountancy firm that are keen to recruit an Insolvency Assistant Manager into their experienced team in Central Cambridge. Within this role, you will take on a portfolio of more complex cases to support the senior managers and partners and will also take on responsibility for overseeing the work of 2 team members. The office is easily accessible by public transport and a parking space will be provided for those that wish to drive.

The Role:

1. You will manage a portfolio of corporate cases from inception through to closure.
2. Providing regular training to assist in the team's development.
3. Preparing statutory reports.
4. Monitoring WIP and costs to budget.
5. Preparing for and attending meetings with creditors and shareholders.
6. Dealing with creditor claims and queries.
7. Liaising with solicitors and responding promptly to all enquiries.
8. Preparing the statement of affairs and estimated outcome statements.
9. Realisation of assets and subsequently making distributions.
10. Identifying risk issues and drawing them to the attention of management.
11. Assist with the firm’s marketing activities by participating in networking events.

Requirements:

1. You will need a proven track record in managing corporate insolvency cases from inception.
2. Ideally, you will be CPI qualified.
