Job description

As a Barclays Insights & Reporting Analyst, you will provide operational management and reports for the Cyber Fraud Fusion Centre (CFFC) services and SLAs. Your responsibilities include supporting, maintaining, and developing the CFFC Management Information (MI) framework through data enrichment, transformation, and automation using Tableau development and data engineering skills. You will also drive MI innovation and establish operational MI processes via research and development.

Our hybrid working model combines onsite collaboration with remote work, with colleagues working at an onsite location on fixed days, typically a minimum of two days per week. What will you be doing?

1. Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end MI processes for CFFC services, delivering weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on time.
2. Owning the CFFC MI Framework from process, data, and technology perspectives, coordinating with service owners on KPIs and KRIs.
3. Planning and executing data aggregation and transformation to produce MI dashboards and reports.
4. Developing complex Tableau dashboards to meet operational requirements and stakeholder metrics.
5. Overseeing data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of reported metrics.
6. Identifying new service streams and components, updating MI and dashboards accordingly.
7. Researching innovative methods to optimise MI visualisations for maximum impact.
8. Ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards for CFFC metrics.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Tableau developer and/or data engineer with MI reporting tools, capable of building data pipelines using Python or ETL tools.
• Knowledge of databases, querying, and data aggregation techniques that ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Proficiency in developing Tableau dashboards and creating professional reports in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to design automated processes linking various data sources, including REST APIs, databases, SFTP, and files.

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience producing reports for senior leadership or external stakeholders.
• Building interactive Tableau dashboards.
• Proficiency with SAS, pgAdmin, Hue, Impala, and Ab Initio.
• Experience in cyber-enabled fraud or cybersecurity reporting.
