Job description

As an Insight Analyst, you'll play a key role in understanding how customers interact with our website, app and Internet Bank. Using digital analytics, customer behaviour data and performance metrics, you'll identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, optimise digital experiences and support business objectives.

Working closely with product owners, content specialists, designers and stakeholders across the business, you'll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. You'll help define success measures, monitor performance and evaluate the impact of digital initiatives, ensuring decisions are driven by evidence rather than assumption.

Through the effective use of analytics tools, measurement frameworks and reporting, you'll provide accurate, timely and meaningful insight that helps shape priorities, improve customer outcomes and drive continuous improvement across Nationwide's digital channels.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. Swindon, London, Bournemouth, Glasgow or Gosforth office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. If you are aligned to our Gosforth hub (as this is your nearest location), there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. This is anticipated to be weekly in Gosforth. There will also be a need to attend a monthly team meeting in Glasgow or London. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

Whilst these locations are where we are primarily looking to fill the role, if you’re an internal applicant based in a different location, we would welcome your application and, if successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this could work for this specific role.
