Job summary

BAKO Group is seeking an Internal Sales professional in Preston to maintain high customer service levels, handle calls, process orders and drive sales. You will upsell, build rapport with customers and collaborate with the sales team to maximise opportunities and achieve KPIs.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a £25,001 per annum salary. Join a leading UK bakery distributor with national coverage and a focus on excellent service and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a customer service call centre or retail environment.
• Experience in cross selling and promoting new lines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Be flexible and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls and process orders.
• Upsell and develop new business with customers.
• Maintain high level of customer service and build rapport with colleagues and customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to meet customer needs.
