Job summary

Rexel Inside Sales Representative based in Peterborough, Ontario, is responsible for directly servicing customers by phone and email, processing orders and quotations, and maintaining high service levels.

The role requires two years of inside sales or customer service experience, strong communication, multitasking, and product knowledge of electrical distribution. AS400 experience is an asset; electrical distributor experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
• 1-5 years at an electrical distributor experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone and email daily.
• Process orders, inquiries and quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Make at least four outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding ecommerce.
