Job summary

Dutypoint is hiring an Internal Sales Estimator to handle inbound enquiries, interpret customer requirements, and select suitable pumping solutions from our range of clean water booster sets and wastewater packages. You will prepare accurate, commercially competitive quotations and support growth opportunities.

Collaborating with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you will maintain CRM communications and progress inquiries with precision, ensuring timely order acknowledgements and delivery

Qualifications

• Experience working with customers purchasing technical products or equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident communicating with both internal and external contacts.
• Good IT skills and confidence using business systems.
• Interest in technical products and engineering solutions.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with high enquiry volume.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-focused with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via email and telephone.
• Analyse building schematics and specifications to understand application requirements.
• Select and specify appropriate pump systems based on customer requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare accurate quotations and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and promote the wider Dutypoint product portfolio.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and progress opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM communications and ensure customer enquiries are progressed efficiently.
• Provide order acknowledgements and support delivery requirements within agreed timescales.
