Job summary

Cygnet Health Care Limited is seeking a Ward Administrator/Clerk at Taunton to support inpatient services for men and women with mental health needs and learning disabilities. The role involves processing admissions paperwork, maintaining up-to-date patient records, and generating data for corporate reporting.

You will also take minutes, liaise with external agencies, and provide reception cover while upholding strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2 years of administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient typing and minute taking.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist wards with paperwork (admission forms, etc.).
• Maintain patient database and KPI data; ensure compliance with dashboards.
• Record minutes at meetings and liaise with external agencies and relatives.
• Provide cover in reception and support the Administration Department; handle switchboard.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient data at all times.
