Job summary

UHCW NHS Trust in Coventry is recruiting a Band 3 Therapy Technician for a fixed rotational post across inpatient therapy teams. The role supports Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, delivering person-centred care and helping patients progress through rehabilitation.

You will develop and follow exercise plans, assist with daily activities, and ensure safe equipment use. The post is full-time (37.5 hours) with weekend/bank holiday work; immunisation checks are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE level/equivalent BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in health or therapeutic care or willingness to undertake further qualifications
• Care certificate; willingness to gain Level 3 qualifications and Level 2 functional skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains positive relationships with patients, families and carers providing person-centred care
• Develop exercise programmes for individual patients with supervisor guidance
• Recognise deterioration in patients and escalate to a registered practitioner
• Ensure safe and effective use of equipment and infection control compliant
