The post is maternity cover and offers opportunities to shape and enhance psychological provision across six inpatient sites in Essex.

Qualifications

• Specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Experience in inpatient mental health care and working with adults in acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, formulation, therapy and consultation for people experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Develop psychologically informed understandings of crisis presentations with ward teams and contribute to care planning and service developments.
• Supervise junior staff, contribute to teaching, training and reflective practice, and support staff wellbeing and professional development.
