Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments for adult inpatients with eating disorders.
• Formulate and implement plans for formal psychological treatment on an inpatient unit.
• Train and deliver specialist psychological therapies for inpatient groups.
• Conduct face-to-face individual, family and group therapy for patients with complex ED needs.
• Provide psychological advice and consultation to professionals contributing to formulation and treatment.
• Undertake risk assessment and provide risk management guidance to the team.
• Provide reflective supervision to ward staff and professional supervision to Assistant Psychologists.
• Contribute to wider clinical governance and development across the service.
