Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in Roseberry Park Hospital is seeking a Highly Specialist Applied Psychologist to join the Adult Acute Inpatient psychology team on a maternity cover.

You will provide psychologically informed care, conduct assessments and therapeutic interventions, and offer supervision and training within a multidisciplinary team across the urgent care pathway.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level knowledge of evidence-based practice in mental health.
• Competence in risk assessment and risk management.
• Clinical governance and CPD evidence.
• Knowledge of mental health legislation affecting service users.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychologically informed care for adults in acute inpatient settings.
• Deliver indirect and direct assessments and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide consultation, supervision and training to multidisciplinary colleagues.
