Job summary

Bayhealth is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II at the Kent Campus Hospital. This full-time position (80 hours) offers day/evening shifts and pays hourly.

The role requires an active PTCB certification, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, with preference for inpatient experience. You will perform drug distribution, inventory control, sterile compounding prep, and support safety and compliance under supervision of a pharmacist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential is required.
• Two years of inpatient or general pharmacy technician experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes, manages, and stores pharmaceutical products throughout the organization, ensuring correct labeling, dosing, and secure delivery.
• Maintains competency on pharmacy information systems and automation, including label review and patient profiles.
• Supports inventory processes, restocks trays, checks expirations, and assists in sterile compounding prep as needed.
• Responds to safety and compliance requirements, documents records, and participates in training for new personnel.
