Job summary

Thames Hospice is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Inpatient Services (IPS) team in Maidenhead. You will lead a team of nurses, provide direct patient care, manage symptom control, and ensure a coordinated care pathway with multidisciplinary colleagues.

You must be NMC registered and eligible to work in the UK. The role offers permanent contracts with flexible patterns (full-time or part-time) and shift enhancements.

Qualifications

• Must be NMC registered and eligible to work in the UK.
• Registered Nurse (Adult or Mental Health) with current UK registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of nurses for the IPS service; supervise in absence of a more senior nurse.
• Provide direct delivery of care and symptom control for patients.
• Communicate with patients and families to ensure a needs-led care pathway.
