Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist role on Amber ward (Older adult acute ward) based at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury. You will join a ward MDT, receive supervision from a senior OT and support from the clinical lead, with opportunities to complete a preceptorship and development programme as part of the Flyer Programme.

The service uses MOHO and offers varied interventions, with a focus on inpatient OT care and career progression

Qualifications

• Initial screening and assessment of service users and intensive short-term treatment.
• Caseload management for clients with complex OT needs using client-centred principles.
• Involvement in case formulation to inform intervention plans and goals.

Responsabilités

• Carry out initial screening and assessment of all service users and undertake intensive short-term treatment where appropriate.
• Manage a caseload of clients with complex Occupational Therapy needs, using evidence-based, client-centred principles.
• Formulate cases after assessment to inform intervention planning moving forward.
• Assess for and prescribe equipment and aids for safety and independence with ADLs, advising staff and carers as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment plans, collaborating with other teams and third sector organisations.
