Job summary
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an inspirational Service Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across Mental Health Inpatient Wards. Reporting to the Head of Service Inpatients, you will lead Ward Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
You will shape clinical governance, drive service improvement, and work with partners across Berkshire to meet national standards.
Qualifications
- Experience leading inpatient mental health services.
- Strong governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate clinical and operational leadership for Mental Health Inpatient Wards including line management of Ward Managers
- Work with Senior Leadership Team and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care
- Lead clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management and regulatory compliance
- Promote recovery-focused practice and positive service-user and family experience
- Support strategic development, transformation and integration of inpatient services with local and national priorities
