Job summary
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Woodley, Reading, seeks an experienced Registered Service Manager to lead a six-bed service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
You will provide inspirational leadership, ensure compliance and drive high-quality, person-centred care while working with authorities and professionals to achieve positive outcomes and maximise independence for the people we support.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a registered care service and overseeing compliance with regulatory standards.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a passion for person-centred care.
- Proven ability to liaise with local authorities, healthcare professionals and families.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the service
- Leading, supporting and developing the staff team
- Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
- Ensuring CQC and regulatory requirements are consistently met
- Completing audits, reports and service reviews
- Managing staffing, recruitment and performance within the service
- Working in partnership with families, professionals and commissioners
- Managing service budgets and resources effectively
- Driving a positive, person-centred culture across the service
- Participating in the on-call rota as required
