Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner on Perran Ward, based at Longreach House, Redruth. The role involves leading the ward, supervising the in-patient team, and ensuring safe, compassionate care for adults experiencing acute mental health episodes.

The successful candidate will have current UK registration (NMC/HCPC) and relevant postgraduate experience, with a flexible shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration - NMC, HCPC.
• Professional qualification - RMN, RGN, OT, SW, SLT etc.
• Post graduate specialist training to degree level in relevant subject area
• Supervisor/assessor qualification or working towards

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to the in-patient multi-disciplinary team.
• Deputise for ward manager and oversee day-to-day ward operations.
• Work rotating shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care in line with The Nursing and Midwifery Council's Code of Professional Conduct.
