North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Activity Worker to join the inpatient AHP service on the Highgate Mental Health Centre wards. You will coordinate a programme of meaningful ward activities tailored to service user choices and interests, under supervision of the ward OT.

You will support activity delivery, maintain records for audit, participate in PMVA training, and work shifts 9-5, 12-8 with some weekends. Commitment to dignity and person-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Band 3 Activity Worker in inpatient AHP service.
• Coordinate and run a programme of ward activities based on service user choice and interests.
• Maintain service user records and contribute to audits.
• Complete PMVA training as required.
• Shift pattern includes Early 9–5 and Late 12–8, with every third weekend.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate a programme of ward activities to support service user recovery.
• Run a variety of individual and group activities aligned with care plans.
• Liaise with nursing and OT staff to maximise engagement opportunities.
• Record interventions in multi-disciplinary notes and support a safe environment.
• Attend supervision and engage in reflective practice.
