Marmon Holdings, Inc. Derbyshire, GB invites applications for a Product Development Chemist to support the development, testing and continuous improvement of our polymer product portfolio.

The role focuses on laboratory research, formulation, technical documentation and quality investigations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers and suppliers to deliver high quality, compliant solutions while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, or equivalent, required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment involving two-component polymer chemistry preferred.
• Experience in a commercial laboratory with a range of testing techniques.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office and databases; accurate, thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute product development tasks and projects to agreed timetables and budgets; record data in the Project System.
• Maintain R&D laboratory standards for quality, health & safety, and hygiene; ensure equipment is well maintained.
• Record all testing and research data accurately; follow weekly lab work plans.
• Support transfer of new or modified products from lab to production; investigate and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Manager on specifications, QC issues, and complaints; contribute to root-cause analysis.
