Job summary

2K Polymer Systems (UK) is seeking a Product Development Chemist to support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of our product portfolio. You will conduct laboratory research, formulate products, keep detailed records, and assist with transferring new formulations into production while ensuring quality, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry (or equivalent) and GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Some experience in a manufacturing setting using two-component polymer chemistry.
• Experience in a commercial laboratory with testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Complete allocated product development tasks to timetable, standards and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of testing and research activities.
• Support transfer of new/modified products from lab to production.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production and senior chemists on investigations.
• Keep up-to-date with legislation and market trends in polymer sectors.
