Job summary

Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a passionate Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in food tech to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will help students develop practical cookery skills, nutrition understanding and healthy lifestyle choices, while inspiring independent learning and high-quality teaching.

The role supports the academy’s improvement journey, with a focus on strong student outcomes and contributing to wider school life.

Qualifications

Qualified teacher with ability to teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons in food preparation, nutrition and food science.
Support students to develop creativity, technical skills and confidence in the kitchen.
