Job summary

Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a passionate Design & Technology Teacher with a food technology specialism to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will help students develop practical cookery skills, nutrition understanding and healthy lifestyle choices while fostering creativity and independent learning.

We welcome qualified teachers who have completed statutory induction. ECT induction support is not available for this post at this time, and you will join a team

About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in food tech to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop practical cookery skills, an understanding of nutrition and food science, and the confidence to make informed healthy lifestyle choices. You will inspire students to be creative, independent learners while preparing them with valuable life skills that extend beyond the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to high-quality teaching, strong student outcomes and contributing to the wider life of the academy.
